About This Course

This qualification reflects the roles of entry-level vocational education and training (VET) teachers, trainers and assessors who are delivering training services to vocational learners and assessment services to candidates.

Entry Requirements

  • Demonstrate vocational competency in your chosen industry area.
  • Access to an environment where assessment of vocational students can occur.
  • Access to a laptop with compatible Microsoft Word Program
  • Digital literacy to use the online learning system and ability to use Microsoft Word to develop and complete documents.
  • Demonstrate language, literacy, and numeracy skills consistent with Australian Core Skills Level 4.

Course Requirements

  • Computer and internet access
  • Any related PPE and/or equipment needed during assessment.

Course Delivery

Courses are provided online with facilitator-led structured workshops.

A Self-paced option is also available.

Learning and assessment resource access is 24/7

Available Funding

  • Residents of Northern Territory working in a Registered Training. Organisation may be eligible for a funded traineeship.
  • Over 40s may be eligible for funding under the Skills Checkpoint. Older Workers Program – to check eligibility click link.
  • Students may also be self-funded, or employer funded.

No, you don’t however to ensure you get the most out of the course and complete it on time it is highly recommended that you attend all sessions.

Do I need to complete learning and assessment outside of the sessions?
Yes, you will need to schedule time to work on this course outside of workshop times to complete this course.
